Using Google Maps To Save Parking Location – Android

Creation of Parking Location

Step 1: When you have parked your car in the parking area & about to go to your work, then you need to open the Google Maps application on your mobile. Now, you will find the Blue Dot present in Google Maps which indicates the correct location. You need to click on the Blue Dot.

Step 2: After clicking on the Blue Dot, you will find a set of options. Among those options, one will be an option called Save Parking. And this option will also have the symbol of parking. You need to click on the option.

Step 3: Now, you can notice that in the Blue Dot, one ‘P’ symbol is present. So, you have marked the location as the Parking Location & you can move for your own work. They can easily find the location normally they do.

Clearing of Parking Location:

Step 1: Now, after completing all the tasks, you will return back to the parking location & found your car. But before leaving the location, there is a need to finish the process. You need to click on the ‘P’ Symbol present in Google Maps to complete the action.

Step 2: Now, you will find two kinds of options. Among those options, one will be More Info. You need to click on that option to move ahead to the next operation.

Step 3: After clicking on More Information, you will find an option called Clear. You need to click on the Clear option to remove the Parking Location from your saved history. Now, you are ready to come back to your home from the parking location.

On iOS Devices

Step 1: For iOS devices also, the method to create the parking location is the same as the android devices. You need to open Google Maps on your iPhone. You will get the Blue Dot in Google Maps that will indicate your live location. You need to click on that option to move ahead.

Step 2: After that, you will get a set of options present in front. You will find an option Set As Parking Location. You need to click on that to save the parking location on your iOS device.

Step 3: After that, you will notice one Parking Symbol will be present in Google Maps on your iOS device. You will notice the ‘P’ Parking Symbol there. You have completed the task & now you can move ahead with your personal work.
