L.D College of Engineering Admission Experience

Eligibility criteria:

Eligibility criteria varies on the basis that you are a D2D student a regular degree student.

Entrance exam:

There is a GUJCET exam (Gujarat common Entrance test) it is a 120 marks test (40- phy,40-math and 40- chemistry). There is a negative marking of -0.25 marks. Or candidates must have give JEE main exam.

Application process:

Students have to apply on ACPC portal for admission in BE/Btech category.

Entrance exam counseling:

After registration ACPC will give a state final merit rank for students of GUJCET and JEE. The rank is prepared on basis of 50%board sci pr and 50% GUJCET pr. There are 95% seats for GUJCET and 5% for JEE in government colleges and 50% on GUJCET basis and 50%on JEE in private colleges.

Counselling and seat allotment:

After your merit rank come you have to do choice filling of the colleges and branch you want. First there will be mock round and after that your mock round seat will be alloted. It is just a demo so that students can feel comfortable with admission process and can know the possibility of getting admission in their choice colleges. After that there will be 1st round and it will be final round. Then again you have to do choice filling and after few days you will get result.Round 2 and round 3 will occur on basis of vaccancy.

Fee payment and admission confirmation and reporting:

Once you get admission you have to confirm by paying token fees which is 0₹ for girls and 1500₹ for boys in government colleges and 20,000₹ in private colleges. And you have to download admission letter from ACPC portal. Then you have to go to your college for reporting and submit all documents.

Orientation in college:

After that you will have orientation and induction Program in your colleges. Particularly talking about L.D College of Engineering, My orientation was awesome and after that there is a 15 days induction Program in which you will do creative activities.

L.D College has amazing on campus placements. There is a placement cell which trains you and develop your soft and coding skills. Many companies like IBM,Adani,Reliance, Argusoft,Intuit visit our campus. The average package of Computer IT branch is 10 to 12lpa.
