Introduction:

Getting into college is a significant milestone in every student’s life. It shapes their academic journey, career prospects, and personal growth. In this article, I would like to share my recent college admission experience in B.TECH CSE(AI AND ML) Popularly known as CSM at Pragati Engineering College, and the valuable lessons I learned along the way. My hope is that by sharing my story, other students can avoid making the same mistakes and make more informed decisions during their own admission process.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), including minimum academic qualifications and entrance examination requirements. These criteria may vary depending on the program and category.

Entrance Examination:

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) conducts an entrance examination called EAPCET (ENGINEERING, AGRICULTURE, AND PHARMACY COMMON ENTRANCE TEST) for admission to its various programs for MPC and BIPC Stream. Candidates need to register for the examination, fill out the application form, and appear for the test.

Application Process:

Candidates need to complete the application form on the APSCHE Government website and submit it along with the required documents, such as academic transcripts, certificates, photographs, Aadhar details, etc. The list of required documents will be provided On the Website. The application form can only be submitted online.

Entrance Examination:

Once the application process is complete, candidates need to appear for the EAPCET examination at their provided Examination centers. The exam assesses the candidate’s knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for MPC stream students. And subjects like Botany, Zoology, Physics, and Chemistry for BIPC stream students. Based on the exam scores, candidates are shortlisted for admission.

Seat Allotment:

Shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling for admission to their desired colleges and desired streams. During counseling, candidates can choose their preferred program and specialization based on their rank and availability of seats. Seat allotment is done based on the candidate’s rank in the exam.

Document Verification:

After the seat allotment, candidates are required to report to the college that they allotted in counseling for document verification. They need to submit the necessary documents, such as educational certificates, identity proof, and other relevant paperwork.

Fee Payment and Admission Confirmation:

Candidates need to pay the admission fees within the specified time frame to confirm their seats. Once the complete fees are paid, the candidate has to submit the required original documents admission process is considered complete.

My Experience

After completing my 12th in the MPC stream, I applied for the EAPCET examination. To get a seat in my desired college and the Engineering stream. I have cracked the examination and I secured a 12k rank in the EAPCET examination. And I have applied for counseling. To get the seat in my desired Stream. I got a seat in B. TECH CSE (AI AND ML) CSM at Pragati Engineering College.

I completed my admission process as I mentioned above by visiting the Pragati engineering college. I had a wonderful experience throughout my admission process. I learned valuable lessons throughout my admission.
