Zeal College of Engineering and Research Admission Experience

The admission process at Zeal College was conducted through the MHT CET CAP (Centralized Admission Process) Round. Here’s my admission experience.

Introduction:

I gave the MHT-CET exam because I decided to do engineering and finally result came and I got the 85% Percentile and I decided to do engineering at SPPU. So there was a low percentile to take admission into big colleges of Pune such as COEP, PICT, PCCOE, and VIT so I decided to fill the according to my percentiles.

Online Application:

To start the admission process, I submitted my application form to the MHT-CET cell website in the category of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra. The online application form was comprehensive, requiring details about my educational background, MHT CET score, and personal information.

Document Verification:

There was a covid-19 so my document verification was done online only within 2-3 days and it was better to go for Option Form.

CAP Rounds:

Once my documents were verified, the date of the Option Form is declared and after 1 day I filled out the option form. The top priority of mine was Zeal College so the first college I put into the option form was Zeal College with TFWS seat and the second one also Zeal College without TFWS into the list of options form there were other colleges that I know there will be not allocated to me because of my percentile so fortunately I got the Zeal College of Engineering and Research Pune without TFWS.

Seat Allotment:

The CAP rounds were done and I saw the provisional seat allotment list was published on the CET Cell website I checked the list, and I found that I had been allocated a seat at Zeal College of Engineering and Research.

Reporting to the College:

After seat allotment, I got a call from the faculty of that college who said me to report to the college within the specified time frame to confirm my admission. So next day of the call, I went to Pune with the required documents which are said by the faculty including the seat allotment letter, original certificates, and payment receipts. The college staff warmly welcomed me and guided me through the admission formalities.

Orientation and Induction:

Zeal College organized an orientation and induction program for students who have newly admitted students to the college. This program provided valuable information about the college’s infrastructure, faculty, and extracurricular activities. I met fellow students, faculty members, and the college administration. After some days I joined the college to attend the regular lectures of my engineering journey!
