MY FIRST DAY EXPERIENCE IN COLLEGE

I am here to share my B Tech experience in my college. I am from Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada. Normally as a middle-class person, I had completed my +2 and wrote EAMCET exams. Finally, I got ranked something around 29700. I got admitted into the stream of Electronics and Communication Engineering and I joined. After this, I thought golden days were coming and we could do anything on our own. After that, the real days came when our potential could be tested. Finally, in 2019, August my first day of engineering started. We had an orientation program. In the orientation program, all are introduced like in the Happy Days movie. Later we went to visit the classrooms and laboratories, canteens this is very important to survive. On the first day of college, only Mathematics Sir started lectures and asked for formulas too. We generally know mathematics lectures won’t leave a minute. But it was nice to remember all the concepts. From the next day onwards engineering life started.

ABOUT OUR CAMPUS:

No matter how much distance our college stood in the best place in the environment. Our college is best in having a lot of trees and a garden and a big playground. We have a special attire for our green space which is ‘Snake Garden’. Don’t panic! Snake garden means that is in snake shape. Our college is very big from this corner to that corner even we got leg pains to walk around. Our classrooms were very big where 100 members could sit. We had a library where we could find n number of books to read belonging to the academics, not only that we could find competitive exams and previous practice question banks. let’s proceed to the 1st year experience in college.

FIRST-YEAR IN OUR COLLEGE

My best days in my B Tech life were my first year. We studied a lot in every subject with hard work. We drew many drawing sheets in engineering drawing. That is the memory of the first year. We did many experiments in a chemistry lab. And student’s favorite subject Mathematics M1 was very scary to us, but in practice, it was very easy for our sir to teach in an easy manner. After some days our seniors gave us a fresher’s party. That was my first party in my life. I enjoyed it a lot. Soon after we got to our very first mid-exams followed by externals and our biggest scariest part came that is “SEM” exams. I wrote well. I cleared my all exams with a CGPA of 8.0 and I am very happy.

Later 1-2 Sem would get started. During this college fest was came. We are preparing for that .

COLLEGE FEST AND EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES :

Our college conducted college fest ,for that many competitions like making paper posters, and presentations, Best out of Waste making competitions, quiz competitions etc and sports competitions were held where different colleges participated in this. I was participated in one of the competition . Dance programs and skits and Electrifying Flash Mob. I got prize for that. Soon after our Villian was came and got ruined every student’s life . “THE CORONA SEASON”.

INTERMISSION

SECOND YEAR AND THIRD YEAR IN HOME

Most of the students life during 2020&2021 was in home only. Same as we too got connected through Whatsapp college groups and online classes and assignments and we wrote exams only in colleges. We didn’t gain any practical knowledge during this period. And the third year same as the second year .Online Classes and assignments submissions etc.. Like this we spent 1 and year in home.

Later we get corona vaccines and medicines with proper safety rules and regulations we followed many rules by social distancing and many awareness programs. CORONA taught a life of lessons how to face the difficulties and how lead the life with problems. Thanks for that but not for the damage 🙁 .

FAREWELL PARTY FOR THE SENIORS:

Finally we came to college in 3-2 . We did mini project that was given in the academic syllabus. We formed into groups and gave presentations where networking and communication and stage performance was improved. After that we gave send off party to the seniors who played a key role in our lives. During first year they helped us in giving advices about B Tech and the exams . We participated and conducted some tasks to tell their experience of their B Tech life . Later with the tears rolled in eyes and danced well and sent them with the heavy hearts by wishing them all the best.

FINAL YEAR (THE CLIMAX):

Here comes our climax of our B Tech life . With a lot of memories we entered into the final year. We became seniors of college. But we really didn’t look like that. We prepared for the academics as well as for campus placements . In final year we did major projects in different domains. By writing exams and gaining practical knowledge and taking suggestions and advices from lectures, we are about to complete the final year. Our college got placements where talented members got selected for some companies. Every Year our placement graph is going to increase.

We too got farewell party and celebrated with the juniors. My B Tech life got an end credits.

During this I learned a lot of lessons how to be and how not to be.

This article is completely my experience in college this is not to hurt to anybody.
