Xperate Interview Experience for Trainee Engineer (On-Campus) 2023

Xperate visited SITCOE Ichalkaranji in August 2023 to conduct interviews for the Trainee Engineer role, which included the possibility of an internship leading to a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO). The recruitment process consisted of multiple rounds to evaluate the skills and knowledge of the candidates.

Recruitment Process Overview:

140 students were shortlisted for this test by internal shortlisting.

Round 1 (Aptitude+Technical Assessment):

– Type of questions: 40 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from quantitative aptitude, DBMS, OOPs and data structures. And 3 code snippets, and 2 coding problems (Fibonacci, Palindrome, Binary Search, Min-Max Element of an Array, like that).

Round 2 (Technical Interview-I):

– Topics covered: Basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Database (SQL), and asked some basic dsa problems.

Round 3 (Technical Interview-II):

– Focus areas: Discussion on the candidate’s projects in depth. Also In this round II questions asked about technical core subject as discussed in the initial technical interview.

Round 4 (Technical Interview-III):

– Conducted online

– Emphasis on the candidate’s resume and experience

– Advanced questions in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Database Management Systems (DBMS).

This recruitment process aimed to assess the candidates’ technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge in key areas such as OOP, data structures, and databases. Successful candidates had the opportunity to secure an internship with the potential for a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from Xperate.
