Cloudkaptan Interview Experience for Trainee Software Engineer 2023

CloudKaptan Consultancy Services Private Limited A leading IT Company conducted an on-campus recruitment drive in January 2023 for 2023 passing out B.Tech & MCA students.

Designation: Trainee Software Engineer

During the recruitment process, I participated in a total of five rounds as follows:

Aptitude and Coding Round:

This round consisted of 20 questions in

1. Quantitative
2. Logical
3. English
4. five coding questions (easy to medium difficulty).

Round 1: Technical Interview 

During this one-hour online interview

1. introduce yourself. I was asked questions related to my primary language, which is JAVA/C++.
2. However, they also posed some questions about C++, covering topics such as dynamic data structures, and vector concepts in C++.
3. Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
4. Exception handling.
5. Difference between errors and exceptions,.
6. Multithreading, polymorphism, and inheritance.
7. Different types of inheritance, including multilevel inheritance and multiple inheritance.
8. SQL concepts, including databases, DDL, DML, DCL, TCL, and normalization.
9. They presented me with two coding questions, one involving arrays and the other focusing on pyramid patterns.

 Round 2: Technical Interview

1. Similar to the previous round, this one-hour online interview covered similar topics.

Although I received positive feedback for my performance in Technical Interview Round 1, unfortunately, I was not successful in Technical Interview Round 2.
