The process consisted of three rounds:

Round 1 – Online Assessment Round

This round was conducted on the AMCAT platform and comprised various sections:

  • Logical Reasoning
  • Verbal Ability
  • Computer Science
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Automata Fix
  • Personality

Except for Automata Fix, all parts had multiple-choice questions. In Automata Fix, there were seven questions where we had to find and fix errors in a given code. We had 20 minutes for this part, which was crucial for the overall test.

Around 1000 students appeared for the test, and only 41 qualified for the next round.

Round 2 – Technical Round

It was a 30-minute interview conducted on the Zoom platform. Some of the Questions asked were

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. Since I mentioned that I know DSA and DBMS in my introduction, the interviewer asked me about types of data structures.
  3. Difference between linked list and tree.
  4. What is a database?
  5. What is an entity? What is an entity set?
  6. What are the types of relationships in data? Examples of one-to-one and, many-to-one relations?
  7. What is linear regression and multiple linear regression?
  8. SQL queries- based on joins, superset-subset concept, subqueries
  9. Integrity constraints
  10. Delete vs Drop
  11. Explain your projects and several cross-questions on them. It was more of a discussion and I showed the project to the interviewer by sharing a screen.

24 students cleared this round.

Round3 – Leadership Round

This round included questions such as:

  1. Introduce yourself.
  2. What is normalisation?
  3. How will you create a Student database in 4NF?
  4. SQL queries based on LIMIT, OFFSET.
  5. Difference between SQL and NoSQL databases.
  6. How many 8’s are there from 1 to 100? Write the code for it.
  7. If the client is asking unnecessary questions, and your senior is on leave, how will you handle the situation?
  8. What do you do in your free time?
  9. Do you have any questions for us?

10 students were selected finally.
