My Interview Experiences for Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre.

Round-1: Online Assessment

The first round was an online assessment which consisted of 4 sections – English, Aptitude/verbal, computer concepts and coding round. The difficulty level of each section was easy to medium except for the coding round. The coding round was a bit difficult, it consisted of 3 coding questions out of which 2 were easy but 3rd one was quite difficult compared to the other two. It was an on-campus placement so around 200 students from my batch were eligible for the placement but only 20 were selected for technical interview. I was one of them.

Round 2: Technical Interview

The first question that the interviewer asked me was about object-oriented programming – Can use explain what are classes and objects in OOPs? Then he asked me what are function in programming and could explain the difference between functions and methods in the context of programming. He asked me what programming language do prefer to which I replied, python. He then asked me questions on Python language – How to implement dictionaries in Python and how they are utilized in programming. He also asked me to explain the dissimilarities between lists and tuples in Python. The interview lasted for 30 – 40 minutes.

The Technical was conducted in the morning, and in the evening I received the mail from my TPO informing me that I was selected for the HR interview, tomorrow.

Round 3: HR Interview

In this round the first question that the interviewer asked me was about my final year project. He also asked me some technical questions that were mainly based on my project, like which SDLC method you used to develop your project, what the tech stack of your project and why you chose this tech stack for developing your project. Then he asked me about my strengths and weaknesses. The interviewer also discussed about the service agreement and job location. HR Interview was of 15 -20 minutes.

Overall, the interview provided a great experience, delving into these core programming principles. Best of luck to anyone going through similar experiences!
