Hello Geeks! Hope you all are doing extremely well.

I’m writing an article to describe my fest experience at J.P. Dawer Institute of Information Science and Technology. I’m hoping this may help you learn something.

College Name: J.P. Dawer Institute of Information Science and Technology, SURAT

About TechSportia

The annual Techno-Cultural Festival known as “TechSportia” is held at the J.P. Dawer Institute of Information Science and Technology in Surat. The college’s largest festival is this one. I’m going to describe my experience of going to my first-ever college festival in this article.

The college hosts this event in December each year, combining sporting and technological competitions. Typically, this event lasts two to three days. The children engage in a variety of enjoyable, extracurricular activities throughout the course of those two to three days.

The festival features a wide range of contests and games, including the Zodiac Game, Treasure Hunt, Carrom, Badminton, Chess, Kho-Kho, Cricket, Quiz, Counter-Strike Video Games, NFS Game, and tech contests like Blind Coding and Coding Quiz.

Pre-Preparations:- Ten days prior to the event, the planning began. Many various committees were established, each with a specific duty to ensure the event ran smoothly. Members of the committee set established a different WhatsApp group to communicate details about the festival and a registration link in order to promote the event. To advertise the festival, posters were taped on the college’s walls, and students traded templates. Members of the committee planned and produced the posters and templates.

The event then starts…

Day 1: The first day began with an opening ceremony in the auditorium, during which the principal spoke about how important a festival like this is in developing a person’s identity. TechSportia combines sporting and technical competitions. With my pals, I had taken part in a treasure hunt game where we had to finish the task at each round in order to receive the clue for the following round. Even though we lost this game in round three, it was still incredibly entertaining and exciting for us. We really appreciated it. Along with this game, Chess and Carrom competitions were going on and they were managed by some volunteers. The first day ended with these three games, winners names had been noted down by volunteers to distribute the certificates after the fest.

Day 2: The second day started with even more energy and excitement. On the second day, We had Counter-Strike Games, NFS games, blind coding, math quiz games, cricket, etc. With a friend, I had taken part in a maths quiz game where we were given a question paper with five questions covering fundamental maths ideas. To answer the questions, we had five minutes. We placed third in this game despite not being able to complete the questions in the allotted time. We really enjoyed this game. One of my buddies won the NFS Game, which was played by several of my classmates. He was ecstatic since he had successfully defeated five opponents at once. The second day thus came to a successful conclusion.

Day 3: The final day of TechSportia started with many events taking place simultaneously like the Cricket finale, Counter-strike Finale, Badminton, etc. With a friend, I played badminton. Whoever scored the first 11 points won the match, according to a straightforward rule. The opposing team had a 5-1 lead at the beginning of the game, but we battled back and scored five points in a row to take the lead. The other team played an excellent game, and they prevailed 11-6. Nobody knew who would win the game until the very final point in this thrilling battle. Then we went to the cricket ground and cheered on our team. The fest ended with a party. These days were the best moments of our lives, and we will never forget them throughout our lives.

My opinions: I have a lot of wonderful memories from this festival that I will cherish forever. Additionally, I stepped outside of my comfort zone and tried something new every day by participating in a variety of activities. Overall, it was an experience of a lifetime.
