JSCOE Fest Experience- TechIntellect Technical Competition

Hi, I am pursuing a B.E. in Computer Science from Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering (JSCOE), Pune. I’m going to share one of my achievements achieved in my Third year of Computer Engineering. In my third year, I participated in TechIntellect technical competition organized by our JSCOE college (Coder’s Club).

The competition was conducted online, making it a wide range of participants. The contest drew participation from more than 200 students, creating an environment of healthy competition. The contest format was designed to challenge participants’ abilities across different technical aspects. It consisted of a total of 30 technical MCQ questions, categorized into three sections: 10 questions on Pseudo code of medium-level programming, 10 questions on DBMS (SQL-related), and 10 questions on OOPs based.

The programming Pseudo code questions were of more logical thinking and predicting output. The DBMS questions tested knowledge of database management systems and SQL queries, while the OOPs concept-based questions assessed the understanding of object-oriented programming principles. One of the main aspects of this competition was the competition’s intensity, where timing played a crucial role. The ranking of participants was determined on a first-answer, first-rank basis. The quicker one answered the questions correctly, the higher the participant’s rank. Each question was a unique puzzle to solve and precise decision-making.

After the contest, the anticipation of the results added to the excitement. I was overjoyed to be declared the 1st winner of the TechIntellect Competition. This competition served as a platform for me to not only showcase my technical knowledge but also to learn and grow in a competitive environment, the importance of technical concepts, and the significance of time management in fast-paced contests.

The certificate of achievement and recognition is dedicated to my hard work and honing my technical skills for the contest. The journey through the TechIntellect Contest was an exhilarating experience that enriched my understanding of technical knowledge. As I move forward, I will carry the invaluable lessons learned from this experience.
