My college name is National Institute of Technology(NIT), Patna – An Institute of National Importance. I got my admission to B.Tech Programme in Electronics and Communication Engineering through JEE Mains Exam in 2022. Today I’m going to share my campus experience and I’m gonna talk about the events, the type of societies here, the faculties and the Placement. So, let’s get started with my first-year journey.

When I came to college in my 1st year, it was a different kind of experience for me, from only visiting coaching to home to coaching, Studying whole day without knowing what going on in the world to a college where a lots of activities are going on each week (expect during exams). There are many clubs and societies like coding club (Hackslash), Google Developer Student Club (GDSC), IEEE, T.E.S.L.A club, ASME, ASCE, photography club (VISTA), Robotics, DESCO– design club, cultural clubs (Natvansh for acting and drama, Saptak for singing, Total Chaos for Dancing,Yoga club, Science club, Poetry club) and many more, that are always doing great stuff in their respective field. My first 2 semester was passed in enjoying the college events, fun activities, tours, playing sports. As being a Human, you can’t control yourself after coming from JEE phase to college with these much of exposure.

Currently, I’m in my Second year. When my 1st year passed, I realised I had done nothing productive the whole year. Then I decided to Learn new technology, started participating in technical talks, in Hackathons, in coding contests. Since I have very less knowledge in this field, I was only focusing on my new learning not on winning. And here my learning graph is increasing and will try to keep it always increasing. Now lets talks about faculties a little bit, the faculties are good, well-qualified and supportive too. They support you to participate in other activities and give you time for this. When it comes to the course curriculum, the courses are according to the industry requirements and good you need 30% in each subject to pass the semesters. I connected with my seniors to enquire about the placement scenario at my college. To my relief, the response was mostly positive.

In conclusion, my college experience at NIT Patna was a transformative journey that allowed me to grow academically, socially, and personally. It was a period of self-discovery, learning, and building lasting friendships. NIT Patna provided the platform for me to pursue my dreams and prepare for a successful career in engineering.
