In this article, I would like to share my enriching experience in an Associate Customer Support role at Tech Mahindra and try to provide a glimpse into the professional growth and learning opportunities I encountered during my tenure. As a part of the world’s largest BPO or consulting companies, I had the privilege of working in a dynamic and diverse environment that fostered innovation as well as personal development.

Tech Mahindra is an Indian multinational IT service as well consulting company. It’s part of the Mahindra Group. The company is headquartered in Pune and also has its registered office in Mumbai. It offers innovative and customer-centric digital experiences, enabling enterprises, associated with this society to rise for a more equal world.

Key Responsibilities

As an Associate Customer Support Executive at Tech Mahindra, I was entrusted with several key responsibilities that allowed me to contribute to the success of the organization. Some of my primary roles included:

  1. I was involved in the entire operation team, from gathering requirements and designing the perfect solution to any problem.
  2. I embraced the challenge of identifying and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth functioning process of the organization.
  3. Tech Mahindra emphasizes the importance of communication skills, and I actively participated in various training programs to enhance my communication and problem-solving skills with the latest industry trends.

My tenure at Tech Mahindra provided me with numerous learning opportunities that contributed to my personal and professional growth. Here I mention some of the key insights I gained:

While my experience in Tech Mahindra was overwhelmingly positive, so it is important to provide a balanced perspective. Here I mention some pros & cons which I observed during my tenure:

Pros:

  2. Good Working Allowance
  3. Supportive Seniors
  4. Healthcare Support
  5. Location flexibility
  6. Salary on time

Cons:

  1. Tight deadlines
  2. No work-life balance
  3. No shift allowances
  4. The hike is very optimal for a year
  5. No Job security
  6. Underpaying than most of its piers

Conclusion

My experience as an Associate Customer Support Executive role at Tech Mahindra has been transformative with individual skills and knowledge. The exposure makes Tech Mahindra an ideal workplace for aspiring customer support executives to excel in their careers.
