Tech Mahindra Interview Experience for Service Desk

This role is majorly for the purpose of troubleshooting like, if the customer faces any internet or network issues we have to fix them and guide them through the process of troubleshooting the internet.

First of all, I got a call from the HR Team for a screening round and they took me a screening round through the phone call. She explained me about are you ok with rotational shifts i.e., 24/7 work and rotational week off, then I said I am okay with it. So, she asked me about, are you okay with 3LPA then I said yes then she asked me a few questions like What is troubleshooting, What is VPN, and What is IP address then she forwarded the call to the technical team and the technical team also asked me about troubleshooting, VPN, How to change IP address, and how IP address is related to subnetting and few more question like what if the customer face an issue with the internet, then we have to clear the cache and cookies in the website and check whether the antivirus or firewall problem. So I got selected to line up interviews at Tech Mahindra Campus.

So I went to Tech Mahindra Campus Bahadurpally,

Things that must be carried out for any walk-in interviews are an Original ID card Aadhar/ PAN, photos of the last 6 months, resume hard copy, COVID-19 vaccination certificate, etc. So in the first round of interviews, one of the HR called four persons including me and three persons. First of all, by checking the resume, she is asking why you left the previous job, and why I have a gap as I am a fresher she didn’t ask me about it and asked everyone to “Tell me about yourself” While answering this question we must include our previous school, college, parents occupation, the related skillset for the role we are interviewing for is must, hobbies, etc.,

The next question was given to speak at least for 30 seconds about the topic “If you are invisible for a day what you will do” One more question asked to the other person in an interview like tell me about your last vacation

After completion of my interview, they said me to go and sit, while going to the lunch break she announced a few names and said Yor are out for this day. Guess what I am also on the list of the people she announced.
