I was a .NET full-stack intern at Tech Mahindra

During my final year at Presidency University, I had the opportunity to secure an internship at Tech Mahindra. The internship focused on Dot Net Full Stack Development Which include front-end and backend (HTML, CSS.JS, Bootstrap as front end and MSSQL as backend, c# in Visual studio), and it proved to be a valuable experience for me.

Throughout the internship, we engaged in daily learning sessions where we explored various topics related to Dot Net Full Stack Development. These sessions provided us with a solid theoretical foundation, and we also had the opportunity to apply our knowledge through hands-on experiences. This practical aspect of the internship allowed me to gain valuable skills and insights into the field.

Round 1 (Online Test):

Tech Mahindra conducts an online test in the first round to assess the mental ability of candidates. The test consists of different sections, including Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability, English, and Essay Writing. Each section has a specific number of questions and a time limit. Candidates can prepare for these sections using relevant study materials and resources.

Note: Clearing this round makes candidates eligible for the next round, which is the technical round. Candidates who don’t clear this round are eligible for a lower package.

Round 2 (Technical Test + Personality):

In this round, called Tech Test, Tech Mahindra evaluates candidates’ technical skills. The section covers computer programming concepts, subject knowledge, and coding skills. Additionally, there is a section on Automata Fix. The round also includes a personality test. Clearing this round makes candidates eligible for a higher package, while those who don’t qualify remain eligible for the lower package.

Round 3 (Conversational Test):

This is a newly introduced round that tests candidates’ pronunciation, speaking skills, grammar, and reading skills using an AI assessment exam. The time allotted for this section is 20 minutes.

Round 4 (Interview):

The fourth round consists of two parts: the Technical Interview and the HR Round. In the Technical Interview, candidates face an executive panel that assesses their technical knowledge related to their field and the technologies mentioned in their resumes. It’s important for candidates to be truthful in their resumes and have a basic knowledge of their core branches and subjects. The HR Round focuses on evaluating candidates’ personalities. If candidates reach this round, their selection is almost guaranteed.

It’s important to note that the information provided is based on a generalized understanding of the Tech Mahindra interview process, and the specific details may vary depending on the position, location, and other factors.
