I hope this article will help you crack Sutherland’s interview.

ROUND-1: (Essay Writing)

In the first round, they will give you a topic and ask you to write an Essay on it. They gave us 2 questions and asked us to pick one:

  • If you could bring one fictional character to life who would it be and why?
  • If you could change one thing from the history/past what would it be and why?

After completion of the first round, they gave a pre-placement talk and gave detailed information on their company(how many branches, different roles, various learning opportunities etc.)

ROUND-2: (JAM)

Round 2 was a JAM (Just a Minute) section. For me, they asked:

  • If you had a time machine would you travel to the past or future and What would you change and why?

But for few of my friends asked to explain what they had written in their Essay and also asked an additional question(What is customer support in your opinion?)

ROUND-3: (HR Personal Interview)

This round is a personal interview. If you get past the first 2 rounds means they want to hire you. A personal interview is just to know more about you. This is not a filtering round. They ask you if you are willing to relocate, and what are your short-term and long-term goals. But don’t say things like I just want to work for one month and leave the company, if you say that it will create a negative impact on you for the interviewer. Just be truthful when you answer.

Finally, there comes your Offer letter, go check your mail.
