TCS Ninja Interview Experience

Good Morning, Hope You guys are doing well and busy preparing for Placements.

Recently I appeared for TCS Ninja Interview. To be honest I was a little bit Shocked during the interview as I didn’t expect some questions to be asked. So be updated a little bit with new technologies. I performed very poorly during the interview as I was shocked a little bit. That’s the main purpose of posting this interview experience. So here is how it goes

As a necessary part of an interview, you have to introduce yourself. Here is how I answered,

Good Morning Sir, I am (Your Name), I am currently pursuing B.Tech from (College Name) in (Department). I love to study in the field of Machine Learning but I have also explored Web Development and Android Development. I have done a project on Machine Learning. (Project Details). Apart from studies, I love to listen to music watch movies, etc…

Questions asked in the interview are:

• Some theoretical questions about Machine Learning. ( I didn’t expect Theoretical questions from deep but he asked)
• Some Questions about the project.
• What Operating System do you use other than Windows?
• What is the command other than the “touch” command used to create a new file in Linux?
• Why Linux is preferred more than windows in Offices?
• What is the query to remove duplicate data in SQL, despite using “Distinct”?
• What is the query of to managers name from managers table where the name of the manager starts with “A”?
• What is the query to get the first 10 rows from a table?
• What will be the compound key from a table where columns are [managerId, employeeId, managerName, salary]?
• Which new technology do you want to work with in the future? IoT, Cloud Computing, Block Chain Technology
• I answered Cloud then he asked what is a public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud?
• At last, he asked what is your preferred programming language? I answered Python but he said you must know C, and C++ as it is in your Syllabus. Then he asked what is the difference between a null pointer and a void pointer? and what is the difference between Class and Structure?
