TCS Ninja Interview Experience

This article basically helpful for everyone specially for freshers,  TCS Ninja interview was one of the craziest interviews I have attended. Please have the patience to read my story:

Firstly there will be an online test on TCS ion platform which comprises aptitude and programming questions then the shortlists will have the final round which is an Interview round. It is a panel Interview where 3 people will ask questions based on Technical, Managerial & HR. Without any interest, I have applied for a TCS Ninja drive after the written test I got a mail saying that I got shortlisted for the next round. 

Let me tell you what rounds One should go through after the written test in TCS after the written,

• Technical Round(TR) comes second.
• Then the Managerial Round (MR).
• The final round is the HR.

Technical:

• Introduce yourself.
• Tell me about your projects & explain one project, what was your role in it?
• Types of keys used in SQL & their uses.
• Types of joins in SQL.
• Difference between C & C++.
• What is object-oriented programming
• Given a simple Decimal to binary conversion code to do in C++(Preferred language).
• Which language is preferred nowadays & why?
• Why do we use HTML5 today instead of previous HTML versions?

Managerial:

• What new things have you learned during these 5-6 months in lockdown?
• Define the top 2 qualities of leadership.
• Define the vision for a leader in 2 pts.
• If another company is offering you a higher CTC than us will you choose TCS then?
• Why do you want to join TCS?

HR:

• Are you available to work at any job location across India?
• Are you open for any job shifts (Day/Night)?
• If someone is at your home and you are in Chennai and you have to deliver a presentation to an important client the same day, what will you do in such a situation?
• Will you do any higher studies after B. Tech?
• Do you want to ask any questions?

For freshers, facing the first interview is nothing less than having bittersweet feelings at its best. Not only are we too excited but also very nervous for those one-on-one interview rounds. The mixed feelings can be overwhelming and it either leaves you speechless or you end up blabbering things you regret later.

So the main thing I observed in this interview is confidence ,The interviewer also notices your body language like how you sit, how you talk, your body movement when you are giving an answer all of this stuff is observed. Keep proper eye contact , representation of your answer, and core concept which they asked like in all of that interview some common concept which they asked is OOP(Object-Oriented Programming), DBMS, SQL, etc.

Some Key Points Which are Useful For You

• Don’t get nervous when you are talking to the interviewer.
• Keep proper eye contact with the interviewer otherwise, she/he will be bored.
• If you are not sure about the answer which they asked just confidently say “Sorry I don’t about that” with a smiling face.
• A candidate with a maximum of 1 backlog can appear for TCS interview, but at the time of joining there must not be any backlogs.
