This process was started with an Internship of 4 Months by PwC which was completed virtually on their Launchpad Program of PwC. This is a new initiative by PwC where they train candidates with skills like IT Fundamentals, SQL and Data Base Management Systems, Python, Data Science and Analytics. They Provide us with Coding Programming Activities, Quizzes (passing criteria is 7/10), Lectures for each month are scheduled by industry experts of PwC, they take 1 modules and every week-end they keep live interactive sessions of 2-3 hours for problem and doubt-solving.

Once, you complete the Launchpad Program, students who qualify for all 4 Modules of Learning, Quiz and Code are allowed to sit for Interview Rounds. PwC had 2600 Students from all over India for the launchpad training program from the graduating batch 2024. From above the students who qualified Launchpad program were eligible for PwC Interview Rounds.

Round 1: Technical Online Test( 1 hour 15 minutes)

  • Name: Aptitude
  • Time limit: 26 min(s)
  • Number of Question(s): 15

Section 2:

  • Name: Verbal Ability
  • Time limit: 6 min(s)
  • Number of Question(s): 5

Section 3:

  • Name: Conceptual CS
  • Time limit: 26 min(s)
  • Number of Question(s): 20

Section 4:

  • Name: Programming Skills
  • Time limit: 16 min(s)
  • Number of Question(s): 1

Round 2: Technical Interview

This Round was completely Resume Based so prepare accordingly.

  • Introduction
  • What project you did do in your academics?
  • What is SQL? What is the Referential Integrity Constraint? What is Normalization? Difference between BCNF and 3 NF
  • What are Design Patterns? Why do we use them? What are the applications of Design Patterns?
  • Why do we use PowerBi? Case study and applications.
  • Explain Linux Commands. What is Data Ingestion?
  • What is Object Oriented Programming? Explain Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism and Inheritance.

All the questions answers are not mandatory. If you don’t know then tell the interviewer clearly, I will learn about these concepts and come well-prepared once onboarded. Reply Positively rather than using negative words when you are not able to recall the answers.

Advice: Prepare your Resume and be Ready to answer each of them. Be Confident and don’t make your face go low. Keep a small smile on your face constantly which replicates the candidate is loving the process and he/she is confident enough.

Round 3: HR Interview

This round was just to know and describe yourself, The interviewer asked you where are you from, and in which domain are you particularly interested.

  • Introduce yourself.
  • What are your Strengths and Weaknesses?
  • What are your Achievements? (Tell the most recent one)
  • How would you like to take the Opportunity in PwC if you are Hired?
  • Why do you want to work for our company?

Once the interviewer finishes with the questions, they may ask you do you have any questions for us? At this time, it’s your opportunity to show that you are interested in working for the Company and willing to join.

Your questions could be like this>

  • How could I exceed your expectations for this role?
  • What problems exist today that you would like me to solve?
  • What are the top 3things you want from me within the first 90 days?
  • Can you please tell me about the team that I am going to be part of?

And with that, you have left a good impact.
