PwC visited our campus – ABV-Indian Institute Information Technology and Management, Gwalior, on 5th October 2020. There was a total of 4 rounds for the process

Round-1 (Written Exam Aptitude, Java, and SQL): This round had 3 sections

  • Aptitude: 25 questions in 30 mins.
  • Java: 15 questions in 20 mins.
  • SQL: 15 questions in 20 mins.

This took place on the Glider platform. 70 students from my batch had given this exam out of whom 14 were shortlisted for the next round.

Round-2 (Group Discussion): This round took place on the same day. The shortlisted students had a group discussion in different batches. The topic for my batch was “Improvement in online food delivery system during corona times.” This round went on for an hour. In the end, the interviewer asked if we had any questions to ask. I had him what kind of work are we expected to do in a consultancy firm and how will we gel with the environment. 7 students were shortlisted from this round.

Round-3 (Coding Interview): This was a 45-minute interview round held on Glider and took place the next day on 6th October 2020. The interviewer asked me questions regarding OOPs concept, computer networking, data structures, and algorithms. He asked me to write a code on the Fibonacci series upto a given number. Then he asked me to explain to him the logic behind the code. Next he asked me about palindrome and asked to write a code to check whether a given string is Palindrome or not. Then he asked me to optimize the code or come up with any other logic. In the end, he asked if I had any questions to which I asked about any improvements that I need to enhance my coding skills. 5 students were shortlisted for the next round.

Round-4 (HR Round): This was 15 minutes round on the Glider platform held on 7th October 2020. The interview was three-fold –

  1. Introduction about myself.
  2. What do I know about PwC and why do I want to join it?
  3. Being a consultancy firm, why the coding and technical background required in the firm?

In the end, he asked if I had any questions. I asked him about the work-culture and what would be expected of me during the initial phase. That was the end of the interview. The results were announced the next day (on 8th October, 20202) and all 5 students were selected, I being one of them.

Good luck!
