The recruitment process of Hexaware Technologies Ltd. at our Government College of Engineering, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra was online mode. For GET-2024 hiring, they conducted 4 rounds listed below:
1) Round 1: Online Aptitude + Domain Test(Pseudo codes and Computer fundamentals)
2) Round 2: Online Communication Test which is also known as SpeechX Communication Test
3) Round 3: Technical Interview (18-20 mins)
4) Round 4: HR interview (10-15 mins)

Round 1: Online Aptitude Test (60 mins) + Domain Test (30 mins):

It was conducted on the Superset platform in association with the Cocubes platform on 7th September 2023 and it was an elimination round. In the domain test, Pseudo codes and Computer Fundamentals were included.
Note: Aptitude Test sections were English, Analytical Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. There were 20 questions per section i.e. in total, there were 60 questions and should be solved in 60 mins.
Domain(Technical) Test sections were Pseudo codes and Computer Fundamentals. There were 15 questions per section i.e. in total, there were 30 questions and both sections were to be solved in 30 minutes only. Most of the problems in the Pseudo codes section were based on bitwise operations, hence I felt it was quite a more time-consuming section. No negative marking was included there.

Round 2: Communication Test (60 mins):

I received an email from the Superset platform regarding the next round on the evening of 7th September 2023. Communication Test was conducted on the Mettl platform on 8th September 2023 and there were questions to check pronunciation, vocabulary, etc. Along with that, there were some audio clips that we had to listen to and speak to, and also some questions were asked from audio clips so we had to listen to it carefully and answer accordingly. There were also questions like the extempore type where we had to speak for 1 minute and the topics were ‘Your favorite weather’, ‘Opinion on smart work and hard work’, ‘Your favorite sport’ and at the end, there were some grammar related objective questions. Most of the students got eliminated in this round. Only 4 students were selected for the Technical Interview.

Round 3: Technical Interview (18-20 mins):

It was conducted on the Superset platform on 25th September 2023 and the questions asked were as follows:-

  • Introduce yourself
  • Tell me the four main concepts of OOPs.
  • What is an array? How can it be sorted in an ascending order?
  • Explain Polymorphism. What are its types? Explain both the types.
  • Asked to write code for 2 programs in Notepad, those programs were:
    i) Program to reverse a string
ii) Program to print the sum of digits of a number
  • He just asked me whether I’m aware of SQL or not, but didn’t ask in more detail.
  • Asked about ACID properties (question from DBMS)
  • Tell me about your projects (Project introduction + working details)
  • What are sorting algorithms? What are their types? Whose time complexity is better?
  • At the end, do you have any questions for me?
Note: Web-camera was turned off on the interviewer’s side, so it’s hard to say that my interview was resume-based. The difficulty level was between easy to moderate.

Round 4: HR Interview (10-15 mins):

My HR interview was conducted on the Superset platform on 27th September 2023 this time too, the webcam on the interviewer’s side was turned off but HR was friendly and asked the following questions:

  • Started with Where are you from?
  • Tell me speciality of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar(Aurangabad)
  • What are your hobbies? I told him that I like sketching, so he asked me to show any recent sketches I’ve done.
  • Then he moved towards the technical part: Which language do you prefer for problem-solving?
  • Why do you use Java?
  • Explain encapsulation.
  • Ready to relocate or not?
  • Which movie you’ve watched recently? What message did you get from it? (This question was related to my hobbies)
Note: Just answer every question with confidence and proper understanding. Know about the company you are interviewing for. Highlight the good things you found about the company to answer any unexpected questions.
I got selected for the GET profile. All the best!
