Hi there, I recently cleared the interview of Hexaware Technologies for the SEAGUE Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role. In this article, I will explain in detail about my interview experience.

Hexaware Technologies

Hexaware Technologies is a leading global IT and business process outsourcing service provider. Established in 1990, the company has grown to become a prominent player in the IT industry, offering a wide range of services to clients worldwide. Headquartered in Mumbai, India, Hexaware operates in various countries, serving clients across multiple industries.

The company specializes in providing end-to-end IT solutions and services, including application development, software maintenance, infrastructure management, cloud computing, business process outsourcing, and digital transformation. Hexaware caters to diverse sectors, such as banking and financial services, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, retail, and travel.

Hexaware has built a reputation for its innovative approach and cutting-edge technologies. The company leverages advanced analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to deliver efficient and value-driven solutions to its clients. Its focus on digital technologies and customer-centric solutions has helped clients improve their business operations and gain a competitive advantage in the market.

Based on your performance in the interview, you can get either Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) role or Premium Graduate Engineer Trainee (PGET) role.

There was a salary gap between PGET and GET

Round 1 :

  • It is an online assessment and you can expect questions from aptitude and computer fundamentals.
  • It consists of two parts. In part one, you have to 60 questions in sixty minutes. You will have 20 questions from quantitative aptitude, 20 questions from logical reasoning, and 20 questions from verbal reasoning.
  • In part two, you have to answer 30 questions in 30 minutes. You will have 15 questions based on pseudocode and 15 questions to test your fundamental knowledge of computer science.
  • It is an eliminatory round.

Round 2:

  • It is an online assessment to check your communication skills and it will have four parts.
  • It consists of 67 questions, which have to be answered in 45 minutes.
  • This test will evaluate your fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, and sentence mastery.
  • In part one, you have to read the given sentence and for some questions, you have to listen to the given audio and repeat the same.
  • In part two, you will have questions to test your grammatical knowledge. You have to fill up the given blanks.
  • In part three, you have to record your answer to the given scenario. The questions were more generic in nature.
    • Share your leadership experience
    • Share a moment when you took a risk and it paid off.
  • In part four, you have to listen to the given audio and choose the best option for the given questions. The audio can be played once and it cannot be paused in between.
  • It is an eliminatory round.

Round 3:

  • It will be a general HR discussion round.
  • The common interview questions that were asked in this round are
    • What are your three strengths and weakness
    • What are your goals
    • How long will you work for this company
    • Are you willing to relocate
    • Tell me something about yourself which are not present in your resume
    • Why did you choose this college
    • Why did you choose this course
    • What is your view on technology
  • It is an eliminatory round
