Round 1:

The first round of assessment was on the Cocubes platform which had two sections Aptitude test and domain test.

Each round was an elimination round and many students got eliminated in each section of the Hexaware hiring process.

Test 1: Aptitude Test

Three Sections:

  • English,
  • Analytical Reasoning,
  • Quantitative Aptitude.

Test 2: Domain Test

Two Sections:

  • Pseudocode – Easy level
  • Computer Fundamentals. – Easy MCQ

30 min, 30 Q, No Negative Marking

My first round was on 26th August at 10 AM.

Round 2: Communication Assessment

After completing the first round on the same day, I received an email for the next round, which was the communication test. I wasn’t prepared for it because I assumed it would take some time to receive the results and proceed to the next round. Therefore, I advise you to be prepared in advance for the test which can be on the same day. The test was scheduled for 3 PM on August 26th.

This round aimed to assess your proficiency in English communication. It took place on the Mettl platform and included multiple-choice questions, recording yourself, listening to paragraphs, and answering questions. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to listen to the recordings again while choosing your answers, so listen carefully.

  • You will be required to record and submit specific sentences provided by the test. It is important to note that this was not an interview, therefore there was no human involvement; the entire process was automated.
  • During one of the sections, they will inquire about personal topics, such as “Tell us about your best friend?” or “Describe your dream house?”.
  • Furthermore, the passage answering round was relatively challenging compared to the other sections. It involved recalling a passage and answering related questions.

Round 3: Technical Interview

One day prior to the technical interview, I received an email stating that my scheduled technical interview was on September 28th.

During the interview, after introducing myself, the interviewer asked me questions regarding my introduction, projects, and internship experience. Subsequently, I was given a problem to solve using JavaScript (as I had mentioned JavaScript in my resume). I was instructed to open a notepad and write a program to assign grades to students based on their marks. It was a standard if-else program in JavaScript, which I successfully completed. Following that, the interviewer presented me with an SQL query to solve, for which I diligently noted down the table columns as he explained them. I then performed the query.

To my surprise, my interview concluded within approximately 15 minutes.

Round 4: HR Interview

The HR Interview was scheduled for September 30th. The HR round proceeded smoothly and effortlessly. I provided an introduction and was queried about my willingness to relocate. Additionally, it was suggested that I familiarize myself with the company by gathering relevant information. One interesting aspect of the interview was being asked to rate my communication skills on a scale of 1 to 10.

Concluding the HR interview, I awaited further updates. On November 24th, to my delight, I received the long-awaited Letter of Intent.
