Hexaware Technologies Experience for GET (On-Campus) 2023

Hexaware Technologies is one of the most popular mass recruiters. They come to hire freshers in our college for Graduate Engineer Trainee(GET) role. I would tell you about my experience in detail with the process of Hexaware Technologies.

We fill out our application forms for Hexaware Technologies in the 1st week of September 2022 on the Superset platform. The hiring process of Hexaware Technologies has 4 rounds:

  • Round 1 (80 Min): Online Aptitude Test + Tech Domain Test
  • Round 2 (45 Min): Communication Test
  • Round 3 (30 Min): Technical Interview
  • Round 4 (10 Min): HR Discussion 

Round 1 (75 Min): Online Aptitude Test + Tech Domain Test: In this, we have to solve 2 tests and both are time-based.

Test 1: Aptitude Test (Three Sections: English, Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude) with a duration of 45 min with No Negative Marking.
Test 2: Domain Test (Two Sections: Pseudocode and Computer Fundamentals) with a duration of 30 min with No Negative Marking.

The level of this round is NORMAL.

Round 2 (45 Min): Communication Test: This round consists of:

  • English grammar (Articles, Direct-Indirect Speech, etc.
  • Some questions for speaking (Basically, you have to listen to a recorded voice and in the given time, you have to repeat it).
  • 1min. question (You have to speak for about 1min. on the topic which is displayed on your screen).

TIP: Sit in a quiet place with the proper working of your mic.

The level of this round is EASY.

Round 3 (30 Min): Technical Interview: 

  • My interview was scheduled 10 days form the communication round on the Superset web app.
  • I was asked to give a brief introduction about myself and then further I was asked basic questions on topics like the OOPS concept, SDLC, etc.
  • The interviewer asked me about one of my best projects and my role in it.
  • I was also asked to implement 3 codes on an online IDE and I have to share my screen before implementing the code. Asked Codes: 1. Write a program to implement the use of pointers. 2. Write a program to implement the use of the “this” keyword. 3. Write a program to print first_name and last_name of me without using any loop (for loop, while loop, etc.) and recursion method.
  • I was also asked to implement an SQL query to create a table and insert some rows and columns. in it.

TIP: Just be confident and say “No” if you don’t know the answer to any question rather to fumble or break the flow of interview.

The level of this round is MODERATE.

Round 4 (10 Min): HR Discussion:

  • HR Discussion was scheduled 3 days from the Technical interview on the Superset web app.
  • I was asked to give a brief introduction about myself.
  • I was asked some questions like where I live, Am I aware of bond, etc.

The level of this round is EASY.

TIP: Ask them a relevant question if they ask if we have any questions for them. It shows them that your are interested in joining the company.

Outcome: GOT SELECTED…!!

Suggestions:

  • Focus on CS fundamentals like OOPs, DBMS, CN, OS, etc. and basic DSA concepts.
  • Try to give To-The-Point answers which are short and clear.
  • Go through your projects which are written in your resume.
  • Don’t try to make stories until required.
  • Once you’re done with the things mentioned above, you are good to go!!
