Hello everyone! I recently had the opportunity to interview with Amazon for the position of Software Engineer. I want to share my experience with you all.

The interview process at Amazon consisted of several rounds, including a technical screening, multiple technical interviews, a behavioral interview, and a final round with a hiring manager.

Round 1: Technical Screening

The first round was a remote technical screening that assessed coding abilities and problem-solving skills. I was given coding problems to solve within a specific time limit, covering topics such as algorithms and data structures.

Round 2: Technical Interviews

Multiple technical interviews were conducted by experienced software engineers. Each interview focused on different technical aspects, including coding, algorithm analysis, and system design. It aimed to evaluate my technical proficiency and problem-solving abilities.

Round 3: Behavioral Interview

The behavioral interview assessed soft skills and cultural fit. The interviewer asked questions about past experiences, teamwork, and challenges. They evaluated communication skills, adaptability, and alignment with Amazon’s values.

Round 4: Final Round with Hiring Manager

The final round involved an interview with a hiring manager. We discussed my technical background, career goals, and how my skills aligned with the team’s objectives. The manager provided insights into the team dynamics and assessed my fit for the role.

Throughout the interview process, the interviewers at Amazon were professional, knowledgeable, and supportive. They provided feedback, and guidance, and challenged me to showcase my capabilities. I received an offer as a Software Engineer and look forward to contributing to Amazon’s innovative projects.

I am grateful for the opportunity provided by Amazon and for the support and guidance from the interviewers.
