Know about the company because, during the HR round, they may ask about their company.

Eligibility criteria and package:

Degree and stream: Regular (Full Time) B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (CS & IT)

Academic Gap: A Maximum one-year gap in education.

Backlog: No active backlog at the time of the recruitment process and onboarding.

Other important details: Candidate should not have appeared for Accenture Recruitment Assessment / Interview process is last three months.

There are two roles that Accenture is recruiting for our batch (2022). They are as follows:

  1. Associate Software Engineer
  2. Software Engineer

Rounds:

  • Stage 1 is an elimination round.
  • Stage 2 is mandatory and elimination rounds.
  • Those who clear Stage 1 and attempt Stage 2 will be invited for Stage 3 and it is not an elimination round.
  • Stage 3’s performance will be used as a reference in the Interview.
  • Depending on overall performance at a zonal level, the package would be assigned.

Let’s see each stage in detail:

Stage 1: Cognitive Ability and Technical Assessment

This is the most important round in the Accenture test. In this round, most of the students will get Eliminated and can’t reach to the next round i.e. coding round.

  • The cognitive Ability section includes:
  1. English Ability
  2. Analytical Reasoning
  3. Numerical Ability
  • Technical Assessment Section Includes:
  1. Common Application and MS Office
  2. Pseudo Code
  3. Fundamentals of Networking, Security, and Cloud.
  • You will get 90 minutes overall to complete this assessment
  • You are required to meet the section and subsection cut-off from each assessment ( Cognitive and technical) to be considered for further rounds.
  • After 10 minutes of submitting the test, you will get the results.

Don’t close the browser until you are notified of assessment closure.

Stage 2: Accenture Coding Round

After Clearing the Cognitive and Technical Assessment you must have to participate in round 2 i.e. coding round. This is a Mandatory Coding Assessment. This is an Elimination round.

  • A score of the Coding round will be considered in the final round i.e. Interview process.
  • In this round there will be 2 coding questions that can solve in the following languages as per your reference:-
  1. Java
  2. C
  3. C++
  4. Python
  5. DOT NET

Stage 3: Accenture Communication Assessment Round

This is the third round of the Accenture Recruitment Process. This is also not an elimination round.

  • After completing the coding round candidates have to give this communication assessment.
  • Candidates will receive a separate email with timelines and login details to participate in this assessment.

It is a verbal test that will assess you on the below parameters:

  • Sentence Mastery
  • Vocabulary
  • Fluency
  • Pronunciation

Note: Time Limit: 20 Minutes.

Stage 4: Interview

After Completing the test candidates will receive a notification to select the time slot for participating in the interview.

When you confirmed the slot you will get a confirmation of interview details via mail or SMS.

For me, I got selected and interviewed for Software Engineer Role.

  • The round began with my introduction.
  • A few technical questions like Sorting (Merge sort and Quick sort) and one problem on merge sort.
  • Few algorithm concepts like Kruskal’s algorithm.
  • Question on an Operating system like Deadlock.
  • Object-oriented related questions like Inheritance, Polymorphism, Abstraction, and Encapsulation with examples.
  • He asked me to explain the 7 layers of the OSI model in Computer Networks.
  • Questions regarding the difficult situation I faced earlier and how I tackled it.
  • Project-related questions in brief:-
  1. About the Project
  2. The technology used in the project
  3. My contribution to the project
  4. Few questions on the project
