When I was in semester 7th of college I started looking for a job and started preparing competitive questions such as Aptitude, reasoning, and coding ( Mainly Data structure and algorithm). And then I applied to many companies. Initially, I got a rejection by many companies, and for a few of them, I even didn’t get results. Hence, based on my experience of exams and interviews I started studying more to become a good software engineer and yes Geekforgeeks helped me a lot to learn DSA. After that, I got offers from TCS, and ACCENTURE and started my journey as a software engineer. I’ll share my experience below with each stage of the selection process below.

Technical Assessment (Aptitude, Reasoning, DSA): I have faced many challenges in this round for almost all companies because of the level of coding questions they asked for we should have complete knowledge of DSA so as I was already doing the preparation I started doing more competitive and placements exams questions by my own also by taking help from GeekforGeeks and some Other platforms as well. I was able to do all the practice questions and later I was even able to do the placement coding questions also.

Communication Assessment: My technical skill was good as I prepared well and also we have so many platforms to practice but I belonged to the state board so my communication was weak, I started preparing for this as well and now I can beat anyone in communication with the Internet of being a software engineer I well prepared my communication skills as well which helped me interview round.

Final round- Interview: I have attended technical and HR rounds both.

Technical Interview: Technical Interview was again based on DSA, mainly from me they had asked searching sorting, and array questions, and my interview was very smooth.

HR Interview: The HR Interview was smooth only they haven’t asked me more questions. Question was fewer and they mainly asked situation-based questions and my flexibility, and ability, to be a software Engineer.

Finally, after these many phases, I got placed in MNC with a very good package at the end of the 7th semester of college. And now I’m very happy by becoming a software engineer.
