Greetings to all! I had a past interview experience with Wipro, and I’m excited to share the details with you. Wipro visited our campus for their 2022 recruitment drive. The selection process consisted of two stages. Here’s the breakdown:

Stage 1 (E-Assessment):

The electronic assessment was scheduled for October 5th, 2022, and lasted for 128 minutes. It comprised four sections: Numerical Aptitude, Abstract Reasoning, Programming (Python, Java, C, C++), and Compositional Writing (100-200 words). The programming questions were at a moderate level. To progress in the e-assessment, we needed to pass a minimum of 2 test cases for both programming questions.

Stage 2 (Technical + HR Interview):

The results of the electronic assessment were announced on October 10, 2022. I was fortunate to move forward. Subsequently, my interview was scheduled for October 20, 2022. In my case, the technical and HR interviews were combined. However, some of my peers had separate sessions for technical and HR evaluations. It was a straightforward process and concluded in approximately 15 minutes.

Here are the questions I encountered:

  • Could you please introduce yourself?
  • What motivated your interest in Wipro?
  • You’ve been involved in various cloud projects. Which platform did you primarily work on?
  • Can you provide a detailed explanation of serverless service in AWS?
  • Could you briefly explain each of your projects?
  • Did you implement any Database Management System (DBMS) in your projects? (I utilized MongoDB and conveyed so)
  • Why did you choose MongoDB over other options?
  • Elaborate on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles extensively.
  • What are covariant variables?
  • Explain the difference between method overloading and method overriding, providing examples.
  • Does Java support multiple inheritance?
  • Define Data Definition Language (DDL) and Data Manipulation Language (DML) commands in SQL. Illuminate with examples.
  • Is UPDATE considered a DML command?
  • Clarify the categories of polymorphism.
  • Would you be open to relocating?
  • Are you familiar with the possibility of entering into a commitment with our organization post-training? (I responded affirmatively)
  • Do you feel at ease with signing this commitment?

In conclusion, the interviewer expressed satisfaction with the interview, and the call was concluded. The conversation primarily focused on my projects, OOP concepts, and DBMS. It’s crucial to thoroughly prepare these areas to enhance your prospects of securing a position at Wipro.

Outcome: SELECTED!
