Tech Wishes Interview Experience for Web Developer 2023

Tech Wishes is a Kolkata-based startup IT company that conducted an on-campus recruitment drive in November 2022 for B.Tech and MCA students graduating in 2023. The position they offered was Web Developer.

Selection Process:

1. Telephonic Round
2. Interview Round
3. HR Round

Telephonic Round:

The telephonic round lasted for 15 minutes and involved questions such as:

• Introduction of yourself
• Details about your final year project
• Any web projects you have worked on
• Tech stack knowledge
• Average marks up until that time
• Familiarity with various technologies

Technical Interview:

The technical interview took place in their office and lasted for approximately 1.5 hours. It was a comprehensive interview covering the following topics:

• Introduction of yourself
• Questions based on your CV
• An in-depth discussion about your final year project
• Database concepts
• Algorithms like Bubble Sort and Binary Search
• HTML5 questions, including tags and semantic tags
• CSS, specifically how to attach a CSS file with HTML
• PHP data types
• Practical task: Creating a form to take input for variables ‘a’ and ‘b,’ summing them, and displaying the result in an alert box.

• Explain why you should be hired
• How to effectively manage office and college simultaneously
