Tech Mahindra Interview Experience for ASE (Off-Campus) 2023

I applied through an off-campus drive for Tech Mahindra, and all the rounds took place on the SHL platform. Here’s a summary of the interview process:

Round 1: Aptitude Test and English Essay

• Quantitative, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal questions (around 10-15 each).
• Writing an essay on a given topic.

Round 2: Technical Test

Easy-level technical test with 2 coding questions.

Round 3: Communication Round

Assessing verbal, grammar, and listening skills with various questions.

After a 7-day gap:

Round 4: Communication Interview (5 mins)

Questions included self-introduction, hobbies, preference for team or solo work, and speaking on a given topic (e.g., “Inflation”).

After another 7-day gap:

Round 5: Technical Interview (On-site, 10 mins)

OOPS, Class and Object, SQL query for the third largest salary, differences between C++ and Java, and discussing projects.

Round 6: Operations Interview (On-site, 10 mins)

Questions covered personal goals in 5 years, willingness to relocate, readiness for 24×7 shifts, and comfort with a support role.

Round 7: HR Interview (Online, 10 mins)

Questions included self-introduction, resume based questions, willingness to relocate, hobbies, and openness to working with any assigned technology.
