The officials have come directly from Dubai to take candidates for the role of Field Service Engineer in their Dubai location. It is an International placement opportunity organised by our TPO cell at Sister Nivedita University.

Round 1:

  • The first round they have taken as an Aptitude round. The aptitude round does not only consists of questions from quants, but it also focuses on our Data Interpretation skills.
  • There we questions given like data representation and we need to predict the answers according to the data shown in the graphs.

Suggestion: I will suggest practising questions from websites like GeeksforGeeks, PrepInsta, etc.

Round 2:

  • The answers for the first round were out within an hour or two hours. Those who cleared their first round move to the second round which was a verbal ability round.
  • There were passages given from the English language and we have to answer the questions that follow up after that.
  • There we also synonyms and antonyms as well as jumbled words, then some more English language-related skills.

Suggestion: Try practising verbal ability questions from adda247 or any other Graduate level exam-related websites.

Round 3:

  • The students who cleared 2nd round were moved further to the next round. The results were out in an hour. The third round was basically related to your behaviour or we can say like the managerial round.
  • There were questions related to your behaviour, how you think etc. and also along with this there was another section for job-related questions specifically.
  • For the job-related questions, I highly suggest you read through the fundamentals of electronics circuits, RLC circuits, Water chiller, HVAC systems, Pressure valves, sensors and their operational procedures.

Round 4:

  • Those who qualified for the last round on that day were called for direct interview by the company officials the next day. The first round of interviews the next day onwards was the technical interview.
  • The questions related to the working procedures of RLC circuits, Resistors, Actuators, Valves, Pressure valves, etc. were asked. This interview seemed tough to most of the students as there were technical questions and they were asking these things in detail.

Suggestion: Read electronics-related core subjects thoroughly without leaving any part.

Round 5:

1. Those who cleared the 4th round were selected for the final round of interviews which was the HR round. The HRs were very friendly and they asked very common interview questions.

2. Those interview questions you can easily find on JavaTpoint etc. websites. And at last, after this round 10 candidates were selected including me. The package offered was good but I can’t say publicly because of company policies.

Tips: Please be calm while giving interviews and believe in yourself, everything will be good. Don’t be stressed.
