UST Global, a multinational corporation with a presence in over 30 countries, has been at the forefront of real transformation for more than two decades. The company emphasizes the importance of hard work, persistence, and employing the right tools to achieve success. Throughout its history, UST Global has redefined craftsmanship and shared its expertise to enable clients to thrive in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

I recently secured a position at UST Global after successfully navigating through a comprehensive three-round interview process for a software engineer role.

First round: Coding and aptitude

The initial round consisted of an assessment covering aptitude and basic coding skills. This stage included four sections: coding, aptitude, verbal proficiency, and basic mathematics with questions related to shapes.

The coding section, which featured questions of moderate difficulty, had a straightforward problem—reversing a number.

Second round: Communication

The second round focused on communication skills and took place online. The first section involved watching a video lesson and answering related questions.

The second part required candidates to speak for 2-3 minutes on a given topic. My questions in this round were related to a UST Global YouTube video and an overview of my project.

Final round: HR and Technical

The final round encompassed both HR and technical aspects. Standard questions were posed, such as introducing myself, discussing object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts (if mentioned in the resume), and explaining details about my project.

A significant portion of the discussion, lasting 30 to 40 minutes, revolved around personal aspects, including an inquiry about my family.

I received a congratulatory email confirming my selection for the software developer role. To fellow enthusiasts in the field, I extend my best wishes and encourage you to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come your way.

All the best, geeks!
