NIET Campus Experience

Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) is a private engineering college located in Greater Noida and 1st private Institute in UP to get Autonomous Status by UGC, NIET (Noida Institute of Engineering Technology) in 2001 by Dr. O.P. Agarwal. NIET is accredited by NBA and is affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University.

NIET has been recognized as one of the top engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh (UP) by renowned ranking agencies such as NIRF, Outlook, and India Today. The college has established numerous partnerships with prominent companies such as Capgemini, Wipro, and PTC. Additionally, several labs operate under these companies.

College Life

Regarding my college experience, I joined during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, so my first year was conducted online. The actual college life began from the 3rd semester when I had the opportunity to meet many students, most of whom were from Bihar. The majority of teachers at NIET are supportive and helpful, especially my Head of Department (HOD) and other teachers.

The college provides excellent practical labs equipped with Dell PCs featuring i5 processors. They also offer free access to Coursera. Each semester concludes quickly compared to other colleges, and in the 5th semester, The College started training for placements, which is currently ongoing.

Placement

In 2023, the placement season has just begun, with several startups and multinational companies from Noida, Gurugram, and Bangalore participating in campus hiring for the 2023 batch. Two students have already secured the highest placement with a package of 54 LPA offered by Palo Alto through an off-campus drive. Many other students have also received job offers.
