About Myself

Hi, I completed my graduation from L.J.I.E.T (L.J Institute of Engineering and Technology) in the year 2023 and completed my B.E in ICT (Information and Communication Technology) from here with zero backlogs. Also got the opportunity to complete two internships during my bachelor’s and participated in SSIP Hackathon 2022-23.

About the Campus

The campus is known as L.J Campus where you will find different Institutes of L.J like Engineering, Architecture, Commerce, Arts, BA etc. As my Bachelor was started in 2019. I am 2019th pass-out HSC student. At that time L.J.I.E.T was like a semi-government college in which the fee was a little high compared to a government college and it was a GTU-affiliated college in which we were studying the subjects as per GTU 2018-19 syllabus pattern.

But from 2022 L.J.I.E.T became a completely private college and now the ICT branch is not there instead they started new branches like AI, Data Science, AI and Data Science, AI and ML, Robotics, etc. also fee is now a little on the high side.

Besides all this, talking about the teaching, faculties, and Hackathons. Teaching is top notch you don’t have to look elsewhere for the notes. College faculties are very supportive and friendly, if you have any issue you can directly meet them during college premises. The college provides its own notes for studying which is more than enough plus you also get Question Bank which includes previous years’ GTU questions and college’s Midterm exam questions also which is more than enough to do a complete revision of the subjects.

Talking about the hackathons and tech events it is not much more like any other college during my 4 years of bachelor’s there were only 3 or 5 hackathons happened from which I participated in 3 hackathons (Geek – o – Code, IOT hackathon, Computer Vision hackathon which was done by Sarjan Systems at our college). Moreover, you will not get much hands-on practical implementation on subjects which are in Computer related subjects. Don’t know the current situation maybe practical implementation has increased but at my time it was not that much.

Talking about the placement scenario. The highest placement I know is of 7.14 LPA, the Average placement is of 5 LPA and the lowest placement is of 2-3 LPA. Companies like TCS, IBM, Argusoft, Zeus, Radix web, etc. are recruiting students from our college.

Recently one second-year student (semester 4) from the AI Data Science branch got a 2-year internship offer at – MOJO Tech LLP, New York, USA (work from home). As you can see that L.J is little by little increasing their performance in terms of studies and they are also encouraging students to give different recruitment exams.

Overall L.J College which is also known as L.J University is the best to complete your bachelor’s and also you will get good placements in future. Which will ultimately help you to get your dream company.
