NIIT University Campus Experience

Basically, I am from Phantankot, Punjab, which is near to Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. My university NIIT is affiliated with UGC. It has a campus area of 100 acres with green and mountains. It took admission on the basis of JEE percentile and board marks.

I took admitted in the year of 2019 which was my first year in college, it was full of excitement and memories. After giving lots of presentations, viva, mid-semester exams, and end-semester me and all my friends passed the first year. Then came the second year which is considered as the toughest year of our university because of tons of technical subjects. Here is the twist in the story 2020 the covid year we all came back to our homes. We thought that covid 19 will end soon but it didn’t, 2nd year ended like this only .

The fest part is always the best Sinusoid is the technical fest and Ingunity is the cultural fest of the university. DJ nights, events, stalls all are amazing.

Then started the internship session in the year 2021 and applied to hundreds of thousands of companies with thousands of rejections. I got my first internship in Delhi based startup, it was fun working there. Sadly I do not get ppo from the company. Then started the preparation for the placement.

Placements Season :

• The placement season started in the year August 2022, it was a stressful time for me, but I got a decent package from one of the famous named PwC.
• From my story, you can learn consistency, hard work, and faith. Live your life at the fullest during the college days because after that lots of responsibilities are waiting for you.
