First of all, let me tell you all the procedures to get into this college and then I’ll describe my experience.

This college mainly admits its students through an entrance exam, EAMCET(Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test). Although one can get admission without writing the exam.

Campus: This college is a sprawling lush green campus of 65 acres. It is located in Warangal in Telangana.

My Experience

I joined this college in the year 2020. It was the “covid” year. I got into this college through the entrance exam mentioned above. My first semester was conducted offline for only 15 days and the remaining first semester was conducted in online mode. The professors were highly qualified and were very supportive. After my first year was completed, the college started functioning in offline mode from my second year onwards. I made very few friends as it was in online mode initially. After then, I came to know many of my classmates. All were very happy and I could see that joy in their faces. Classes started and everyone was very enthusiastic about the experience. Trips with friends and bunking the classes were all going on simultaneously:). After the second year, now it’s time to choose a career after B-tech. I decided to pursue M-tech. Many of my friends applied for placement training offered by our college. Everything that has happened till now was good.

Things I learned

  • B-tech life is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and will never come back.
  • One can come across different types of people with different mindsets.
  • Thinking about the past will not help with self-growth.

More about college

  • It is the first college to start EIE since 1981. It has SAC clubs that encourage students to shine in extracurricular activities.
  • Two fests are organized in a year.
  • Students who have an idea or want to start a start-up can walk into the i3c cell and propose it to the concerned team.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Interactive and supportive faculty
  • No college uniform(but dress code should be followed)
  • Updated curriculum

Cons

  • Mostly, service-based companies come for placement drives.
