College: Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s College of Engineering and Technology (MGMCET Noida)

Course: Bachelor of Technology – B.Tech, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Current year: 2nd year

• Infrastructure: Infrastructure will not be as per your expectation here. If you are coming from a reputed government school of Delhi then surely infrastructure of even your school will beat this college in terms of infrastructure. But i would say, “You get, what you pay for”. As compared to its annual fee, you may not be able to complaint about its infrastructure. Classrooms are Ok-Ok, many equipments in labs doesn’t work properly. But somehow still you will be able to get the stuff done. There is a lush green ground here, but you won’t be allowed to play or roam around it most of the times, except Lunch time. Oftenly, that ground is leased to private companies for their corporate activites.

• Internship/Placement: College itself doesn’t provide as such good internships or you can say close to zero internships. Some virtual internships & on-site internships at small local startups is provided. For placements small local startups and some mass recruiters come with offers ranging from ₹2.5LPA – ₹4.5LPA. A few handful students bag ₹7LPA+ packages off-campus.

• Faculties: Not much different from other AKTU colleges. Neither all are good, nor all are bad. Basically, the college will care about your CGPA and completing the curriculum only.

• Fests and Extra-curricular activities: Clubs and other activities aren’t taken that seriously by college. Basically, college focuses more on academic side (completing syllabus). However, some sort of club exists in college and you will be able to see some extra-curricular activities and events happening at college, but the frequency of it will be very little.

• Other: It’s low fee is the main reason for students to opt this college. Its annual fee is somewhere around ₹70k-₹75k. Overall, if you are facing financial crunches and you are self-motivated & determined for your career, then only opt this college else you won’t gain anything fruitful by joining this college.
