Company Overview & My Role

Kelp Global, a pioneering fintech startup with a vision to simplify financial transactions for people across the globe, stands at the forefront of the financial technology revolution. My journey at Kelp Global’s software development branch as an intern allowed me to immerse myself in the challenging yet rewarding world of fintech. Tasked with the role of a Software Developer Intern, I was positioned within a team dedicated to creating scalable and user-friendly solutions aimed at enhancing the financial experience for users.

Key Responsibilities:
During my tenure, my responsibilities spanned across various facets of software development. I was actively involved in designing and implementing front-end interfaces using React, ensuring an intuitive user experience. On the back-end side, I contributed to developing APIs in Python that seamlessly connected with our front-end, facilitating robust data exchange and functionality. Collaborating closely with the UX/UI design team, I also participated in iterative testing sessions to refine features and interfaces based on user feedback.

The internship at Kelp Global was a tremendous learning curve. It instilled in me the importance of user-centered design in creating fintech solutions that are not just technologically advanced but also easily accessible to the average user. I learned to navigate the fast-paced environment of a startup, which honed my adaptability and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the scope for personal and professional growth was immense. I was encouraged to take ownership of my projects, propose new ideas, and see them through from conception to deployment, which was immensely satisfying and enlightening.
