I recently finished my internship at ESAF Bank, and it was an amazing experience for me. This internship has taught me a lot about the banking industry and has been a significant step in my personal and professional development. I’m really thankful for the chance to work as an intern at this organization.

I started my internship at ESAF Bank in early September and wrapped it up by the end of November. I was selected here directly from the college campus. The interview consisted of 5-6 stages. The first round of recruitment consisted of the online test then there was group discussion and then there was an interview after that there was a robotic interview and then there was a final interview. In this short time, I gained a lot of knowledge. I got to work closely with different departments, getting a good look at how a small finance bank operates on a day-to-day basis. I had a range of responsibilities, from customer service to financial analysis.

As an executive trainee intern, my responsibilities included generating leads and converting them into business, acquiring new customers, building and managing relationships with customers by providing excellent service, suggesting marketing plans and strategies based on the competition and market potential of the region, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, supporting the Branch Head in smooth conduction of branch activities, meeting the number of customers specified by the corporate office every month, and achieving liability and cross-selling targets set by the Branch Head.

I appreciate the guidance and mentorship I received from experienced professionals at ESAF SFB. Dealing with customers, both in person and through digital channels, helped me understand their needs and expectations better. This experience improved my communication and relationship-building skills. I actively took part in financial data analysis, which gave me a solid understanding of the bank’s performance indicators and areas that could be improved.

The work environment at the company was very relaxed, and all my colleagues and mentors were friendly and helpful. I feel fortunate to have had such an amazing team at ESAF Bank, making my internship experience truly memorable.
