FinIQ visited our campus to hire freshers (Internship + PPO)

The hiring process includes (All are eliminatory rounds)

Online Assessment:

Online tests consisting of various domains including Aptitude, General Knowledge, Computer Fundamentals, Verbal Ability, Mathematics, etc.

Group Discussion + Essay Writing:

A total of 100 students were shortlisted from the online test for this round. Groups of 9 to 10 students were made and they were asked to discuss general topics like “Is military education important for today’s generation?”.

Also, in the same they gave a situation (Suppose you all are in a plane and the plane crashes on a remote unknown island, so how would you plan your rescue with minimal damage) where you have to present your solution as a group. I would suggest all to divide a situation into different domains and distribute tasks among yourselves. Be specific to minor things too.

All 100 students were headed to the essay writing. A total of 3 types of articles were supposed to be written in decent handwriting. Topics 1. Design an advertisement for a book donation drive, 2. Publish the yearly budget of a village, 3. Design a hiring process for your own company.

Technical Interview:

30 students were shortlisted for the technical interviews. The interview started with an introduction (include your extracurricular activities, and sports achievements in the introductory part. As they emphasize extracurricular activities). As I was strong in both extracurricular activities and sports, the interviewer started with very basic questions about loop statements in the programming. He gave me some easy-level questions to code. Explain your logic behind proper code. Next, he asked me about pointers, dangling pointers, and wild pointers. Some SQL concepts were asked (all types of joins).

One puzzle was asked: https://riddles.guru/riddles/3-hats-puzzle/736/ while solving puzzles your approach to the problem is more important.

HR Interview:

Started with introduction, interviewers were calm and friendly. They asked me about my hobbies, my experience in student council of college, my role in student council, about my family background. Some tricky puzzles. You have to be confident and quick while answering puzzles.

And HR round ended with questions like “Which state would you chose for relocation other than current?”

Total 8 students were selected.

I would suggest you all to be confident over all the process, include your all the extra-curricular activities/sports and be attentive to details.
ALL THE BEST!!!
