BNY Mellon Interview Experience for freshers

Round 1: Online coding round consisting of 3 coding questions on hacker earth platform . You can choose programming language of your choice . The difficulty ranges between easy to medium . If you solve 2 and some of the test cases of third question you qualify for next round.

Round 2: This round was conducted on hacker rank code share platform. This was also online and on this platform your code screen gets shared with the interviewer . I was asked to read through a file of logs and sort according to the price, date and name. If you make the interviewer happy with your coding skills you will be called for next round. Do ask questions regarding the problem assigned to you and try to explain your code . Write comments and follow coding standards . Write clear and crisp code.

Round 3: It was technical + hr round . I was asked to sort a list using a single line using stream Api .
Asked about projects and some Hr related questions like tell me about yourself .
