Here it goes…

Online coding round or preliminary coding round :

  • The online coding round had four problems.
  • The first problem was a bit easy.
  • 2nd and 3rd problems were medium-level.
  • The fourth problem was a medium-hard problem (based on the sub-grid sum in O(n*n) time complexity).

I was able to complete 1, 2, 3, and 80% of the 4th problem.

Verdict: 14–15 students were selected for interview rounds (I noticed that all those students who were able to do >3 problems were shortlisted, i.e., 1, 2, 3, completely, and 4th, partially accepted).

First Round :

  • It lasted around 1 hour.
  • Intro, followed by a question about what was mentioned in the resume, and a coding question
  • Intro, that’s what you can prepare beforehand, so not a big deal.
  • In your resume, you need to be aware of what you write.
  • OOPS took up the majority of the interview, around 30–40 minutes. He asked the standard question of OOPS, which can be prepared beforehand.
  • In the last 15 minutes, I was asked a medium-hard problem. I was able to tell him the idea of my solution (he was pretty satisfied with it) but couldn’t implement it at that time.

Verdict: 7 people were selected for the second round.

Second Round :

  • It was an HR-based round.
  • Intro, followed by situation-based questions and those standard questions like why should we hire you, what differentiates you from the pack…
  • It lasted around 40 minutes.

Result: All 7 people got selected; hopefully I was one of them.
