Recruitment Process

AMD conducts 4 rounds to select freshers in their organization.

  • Telephonic Round
  • 1st Round
  • 2nd Round
  • 3rd Round
  • HR Interview

Academic Criteria

  • 60 percent or above in B.Tech, Class X and XII.
  • No backlogs at the time of the interview

Telephonic Round

Telephonic rounds include a mix of technical questions related to the specific job role, coding problems, and discussions about your resume, past experiences, and your understanding of relevant technologies. The test contains questions from operating systems algorithms, data structures, C, Java, SQL, Nand networking problems. Coding Questions can also be asked in this round.Round

First Round

The students who clear the Telephonic round are called for a second written round at their office. This round is coding-based. Additionally, expect scenario-based questions and a couple of inquiries on CS fundamentals in this round. This phase aims to assess your problem-solving skills and understanding of core computer science concepts.

Second Round

In this interview, they’ll ask about your resume, projects, basic SQL and Java knowledge, and whether you understand object-oriented programming (OOP). It’s good to be ready with understanding of things like Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management, Operating Systems, and Networking. If you’re a Computer Science student, be prepared to showcase your coding skills during the interview.

Third Round

The interviewer ask Questions on queue, Linked List(Circular and Doubly), Stack, Software Engineering(Cohesion & Coupling) System Design, a little bit of Compiler Design, and Python.During the interview, Computer Science candidates will be tested on their coding skills. The panel will also ask questions about your résumé, so be sure you know what you’ve included on your CV. This round may also include puzzle-related questions.

HR Round

They ask HR questions like :

  1. Questions about family background.
  2. What you know about AMD.
  3. Tell me about yourself
  4. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
