Accenture Interview Experience For Associate Software Engineer (On – Campus)

Accenture visited our college J. C. Bose University of Science and Technology recently. In total 260+ students registered for the same. The Roles provided were ASE (Associate Software Engineer) and AASE (Advanced Associate Software Developer). The description of each round is as follows:

Round 1:

This round contains the Cognitive and Technical Assessment test. Which is conducted on campus premises. As each round was an elimination, so it was also. This assessment contains 90 questions, which need to be solved within 90 minutes. 2 basic coding questions were also there. The topics from which questions were asked were: Cloud Technology, MS Office, Quants, Pseudo Codes, Networking Aptitude and Reasoning. It must be remembered that each section also contains the sub-sectional cutoff. Therefore, to clear this round, one needs to crack both sectional and sub-sectional cutoffs. The result is declared on the computer in under 2 minutes (The finishing test starts a countdown of 2 minutes). In total 165 students were able to qualify for this round.

Round 2 (AI-Based Test):

This round was mandatory and the elimination round as well. It is for checking the verbal – ability of the candidate. The following types of questions in this round:

• Sentence speaking by hearing it from AI Voice.
• Storytelling after hearing it.
• Some one-word questions.
• Puzzle-based questions.

We remind you that these all questions were answered by AI Voice. You should be able to understand the words, ascent was also like a foreign language, which makes it hard to interpret. Most of the students were able to clear this round.

Round 3 (Virtual Interview):

This was a virtual round. The interviewer asked some basic questions, which were mostly the same for all of the candidates. The questions were:

• Tell me about yourself.
• The projects you have done.
• What will be the functionality you would like to add to your project?
• Which subject is your least favourite?

The whole process took a schedule of 15 – 20 days. After that, the results also took 25 – 30 days. Finally, they selected 59 students from our campus, Which is the highest count of hiring in 2023. Because hiring is very less in this year.
