There were four rounds in all, namely:

  • Round 1: Cognitive and Technical Assessment
  • Round 2: Coding Assessment
  • Round 3: Communication Round
  • Round 4: Virtual Interview

Round 1: Cognitive Aptitude and Technical Assessment

This was an elimination round, that comprised of 90 questions to be attempted in 90 minutes. There were two sections in this round:

  1. Cognitive: This consisted of the quantitative aptitude, verbal ability and reasoning questions.
  2. Technical: This section consisted of pseudocode output-based, basic cloud & network security and Microsoft Office questions.

The results of this round were declared right after 5-10 minutes of submission. After this round, the students were shortlisted based on their performance and score, selected ones moved to the next round i.e. Coding Assessment.

Round 2: Coding Assessment

This was again an elmination round, comprising of 2 coding questions, easy to medium level.

  1. In a city, there are hospitals representing by perfect squares while the patient’s location by other numbers, you are supposed to write the code to find the path to the nearest hospital.
  2. Find the length of the longest subsequence that has the difference between the adjacent elements as k (given).

The results of the round were declared latest by the end of the day and the shortlisted students were to undergo the communication round. We waited for around 6-7 working days to receive the mails for the next rounds.

Round 3: Communication Round

This was a non-elimination and a virtual round. This round consisted of the various speaking and reading assessments like reading, repeating the phrases, unscramble the jumbled sentences, speaking about the given topic and summarising a story listened in own words. The round went on for around 17-20 minutes.

After this round, no elimination was done and all the students moved on to the next round i.e. interviews.

Round 4: Virtual Interviews

This round was scheduled after 7-12 working days and we had the option to opt for the slots available according to their preferences. The interview was supposedly in a 20 minutes window. I chose the 10:20 am slot.

The interview started with the introduction of the interviewer followed by the interviewee. The interviewer asked me a few questions related to the projects mentioned in the resume and the achievements. After that, he moved forward to asking some basic questions like challenges faced during any project, my least favorite subject in the B.Tech, tools willing to work on in the future and other HR questions. This interview went on for 17-20 minutes and ended with me asking some questions to the interviewer regarding the role offered and the responsibilties.

After 10-15 working days, we received the selection mails from the company along with profile creation and letter of intent.

Mostly, the interview experiences depends on the interviewer, some in my college had a total HR based interview while others had a complete technical one with the rest having a mix of both. Just be yourself during the interviews and show your full honesty and confidence to the interviewer.
