Abzooba Interview Experience for Data Analyst (On-Campus)

Round 1 (Qualification Test On HackerRank):

The first round is the qualification test held on the HackerRank platform (Coding+ MCQ+ SQL Queries).

• This test includes two Python coding questions, SQL queries and Aptitude MCQ.
• This taste was given by around 170 students and 20 were Shortlisted for the next round.

Tip for Qualification test: Before attending the qualification test round make sure you have practiced the SQL queries from HackerRank. Practising SQL queries will be a bonus for you.

Round 2 (Technical Interview 1):

In this round, the Interviewer will ask you questions regarding Python, SQL and OOP concepts.

• They’ll ask you questions about the skills that you have mentioned in your resume.
• Skills I have mentioned in my resume are HTML, CSS, Java, Python, SQL, and C++.
• The basic questions on object-oriented programming will be asked. For example – Why Java is object-oriented? explain data types in Python, etc. (Note: These are the basic questions, the questions level will get basic to advanced as the interview time increases. )
• According to the resume I mentioned HTML in my skills so the questions that will be asked like html code template, basic tags tags, etc. So the basic to intermediate questions related to the skills mentioned in your resume will be asked.
• Questions related to academic projects would be asked such as – What role did you possess in your academic project, What role did you perform in a team (like a team member or a team leader )? etc.

Round 3 (Technical Interview 2):

• The 2nd technical interview round delved into superior topics, mainly focusing on SQL.
• You can also need to write a complicated SQL question or need to code a set of rules hassle.
• Live coding challenges, shared through display screen sharing, evaluated coding talent.
• Questions ranged from SQL queries to Python coding, assessing both simple and superior talents.
• They might ask you to explain the logic applied in your code.

Round 4 (Final Round – HR Round):

• The concluding HR is spherical targeting behavioral aspects.
• Starting with a self-introduction, it explored pastimes, hobbies, willingness to relocate, and situational questions.
• It supplied a platform to show off conversation capabilities and professionalism.

Tips for future candidates:

• Resume Mastery: Understand your resume; Each skill set must be complemented by skills.
• Database and Python Mastery: Improve your understanding of database concepts and Python; They form the backbone of Data Analytics.
• Project Description: Be prepared to describe your duties in detail during the interview. Be clear about your contributions and the impact of each project.
• Behavioural Preparation: Anticipate behavioural questions in HR rounds. Be prepared to share your hobbies, interests and habits about moving.
• Basic and beyond: Make sure you have a solid foundation in basic and advanced coding concepts. Interviews cover a wide range of topics from SQL queries to Python coding.
