As I ventured through my college years, the allure of securing a position akin to a government job within WIPRO intrigued me. The initial step in my journey was preparing for the WIPRO Assessment, which was scheduled to be undertaken in virtual mode (online). Around 15 days before the exam, the hall ticket was released, prompting me to dive into focused preparation utilizing resources like the WIPRO learning portal, GeeksforGeeks (GFG), and other supportive materials.

WIPRO APTITUDE ASSESSMENT:

The exam itself spanned approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, comprising both aptitude and coding sections. A flexible feature allowed me to switch between sections as needed. My strategic approach involved initially exploring the coding section, tackling solvable challenges, and then dedicating ample time to the aptitude assessment.

The aptitude segment presented 60-65 questions, covering diverse topics such as Time, Speed, Distance, shapes, logic building, ratios, Family tree, Error detection, and correction, Fill in the blanks, and Mathematical queries, all to be solved within 60 minutes.

The coding arena featured two questions of varying difficulty levels. One question leaned towards simplicity, while the other posed a bit more challenge. Commonly, these questions drew upon fundamental concepts encompassing problem-solving, arrays, graphs, and trees.

Technical Interview:

My preparation for the technical round for the WIPRO interview was a medley of excitement and apprehension. To equip myself for this challenge, I turned to GeeksforGeeks (GFG), a resource that provided substantial aid for the role I aspired to. Moreover, I found immense value in exploring the WIPRO learning portal, specifically the communication and IT courses, which proved pivotal during the interview phase.

Within the interview itself, I encountered coding challenges touching upon palindromes, Fibonacci numbers, and stacks. The technical round branched across essential themes like arrays, linked lists, and the realm of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. An inquisitiveness about my preferred coding language and the rationale behind my choice further added depth to the interaction.

HR Interview:

The HR round aimed to delve beyond the technical façade, desiring insights into my background, my flexibility concerning job location, and more. Questions encompassed a wide spectrum, from “tell me about yourself” and strengths to inquiries about adaptability to remote work, strategies for tackling tough scenarios, and conflict resolution within a team setting.
