VisAi Labs Interview Experience for Computer Vision Engineer Trainee

Hi there, I recently attended the interview of VisAi Labs – A group of econ Systems for the Computer Vision Engineer Trainee role. In this article, I will explain in detail my interview experience.

VisAi Labs is a start-up company, which works majorly in the field of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence. The company has wide openings for roles like

• Computer Vision Engineer
• Full Stack Engineer
• Machine Learning Engineer
• Data Engineer etc

Usually, they organize pooled campus drives, where they will be recruiting students from ten to fifteen campuses at the same time. It is a two day interview process and one has to clear four rounds in the interview.

Round 1 (Day 1):

• It is an assessment to check your logical and numerical ability.
• It is a pen and paper-based assessment.
• Totally you will have six questions i.e. three from numerical ability and three from logical reasoning
• The time duration for the assessment is 30 minutes
• It is a mass eliminatory round (Only 5% got selected and moved to further rounds during my interview)

Round 2 (Day 1):

• It is a pen and paper-based assessment where you have to solve 20 MCQs.
• Questions will be asked on C, C++, and JavaScript.
• You will be asked to predict the output and also you can expect some theory-based questions
• It is an eliminatory round. (Around 30% got selected and moved to further rounds)

Round 3 (Day 2):

• It will be a technical HR discussion.
• The common problem-solving questions that were asked in this round are
  • Multiple two-hundred-digit numbers
  • Find whether a square or rectangle is present in the given 100*100 array.
• You can also expect some logical thinking questions like crossing bridge problems.
• It is an eliminatory round. (Around 40% got selected and moved to further rounds)

Round 3 (Day 2):

• It will be a general HR discussion round.
• The common interview questions that were asked in this round are
  • Self – Introduction
  • Strengths and weakness
  • Salary Expectation
  • Work Culture fitness
• It is an eliminatory round. (Around 25% got selected and received the offer)
