Hello Everyone! Today I am going to share my interview experience at Veersa Technologies which was held on 18th September, 2023.

Profile offered: Software Engineer Intern (Internship Cum PPO)

Around 1,500 students filled out the form for on-campus recruitment, out of which only 200 were shortlisted for further rounds. By the grace of god, I was one of them.

Total Rounds in Veersa Technologies:

Veersa Technology had a three-stage selection process:

  • CBT (Computer-Based Test) or VAT (Veersa Aptitude Test)
  • Group Discussion
  • Interview Round

Selection Criteria:

In our college, the top 16 students based on the CBT results proceeded directly to the interview round, while the remaining 20 students went through a Group Discussion. Fortunately, I was among the top 16 who passed the CBT round and was directly proceeded to the interview round. Out of 20 students who got selected for the Group Discussion, only 4 were shortlisted for the interview round. So, a total of 20 students were interviewed.

CBT (or VAT) Round:

The CBT round consisted of questions covering topics like Aptitude, Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts, and SQL. The CBT was moderately challenging, striking a balance between difficulty and simplicity. The CBT consists of each question of 4 marks and there was a negative marking (for each incorrect answer the marks were reduced by 4). The level of questions for CBT was medium and average it was not so tough.

Interview Round:

During the interview round, the interviewers asked about the internships and projects listed on my resume. They also inquired about MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) Technologies, and several syntax aspects of ReactJS and NodeJS. Additionally, I was questioned my preffered language(which is JAVA) , the interviewer asked me about the multithreading concepts, why i prefer java? and basics questions related to the JAVA, then the interview shifted to the database and MySql where he/she asked me to write query(related to joins on tables) .

Overall, I found the interview questions to be of moderate difficulty.

Verdict : Selected

Tips:

  • Be confident and bold in your answers.
  • Have a thorough understanding of the projects and technologies mentioned in your resume.
  • Understand the basics and review your resume content.
  • Learn about the company’s values and culture.
