I had the opportunity to participate in the on-campus interview process for Tarento Technologies. I received the offer, and here’s my overall experience:

Unlike other recruitments, there are no written assessment tests for Tarento.

The interview process was structured into four rounds:

1. Group Discussion:

General topics were given for the discussion, aiming to assess participants’ communication skills within the group. Active participation was evaluated, emphasising the importance of engaging in the discussion, irrespective of familiarity with the topic. Making meaningful contributions and demonstrating effective communication skills were an essential criteria for evaluation.

2. Technical Interview 1:

This round primarily focused on discussing the projects undertaken and the skills acquired through them. Participants were required to elaborate on the challenges encountered during project execution and how they were successfully overcome.

3. Technical Interview 2:

Led by a senior developer, this round focused on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts. I was presented with coding questions based on the DSA topics I had mentioned earlier. The interviewer provided detailed explanations and asked for step-by-step explanations of the solutions.

4. HR Interview:

It was a comparatively long interview with the HR of the company. It covered about the Projects done till now, tech skills achieved, interests, events organized. I was asked to explain the software life cycle of the software that I explained in the projects done.

In general, I thought the interviewers were competent and kind, which made me feel at ease all through the procedure. I am appreciative of the chance to interview with Tarento since I think I would be a great asset to their team.
